OFSTED at Little Echoes Children’s Day Nursery

What is Ofsted you may well ask, it stands for Office for Standards in Education.

Ofsted - Better Education and Care

Each nursery and child care provider must follow the National Standards for Under Eights Day Care and Child minding regulations. Each of the fourteen standards describes a particular quality outcome and has a set of criteria giving information as to how that outcome is to be achieved. This is how Ofsted inspections are carried out assessing each educational setting against these set criteria.

This now our 10th year at our Bagshot location, and, as normal our inspection was unannounced. We are proud of the results, of "Good" in all areas and are focused on improving further in respect of supporting the staff to realise an even higher quality of our early year's provision.

OFSTED Inspection 7th May 2021: -

More recently in 2021 we are pleased to announce the outcome of their inspection as GOOD.

To achieve "Good" is a result of the commitment and dedication of the nursery team. An achievement at this level acknowledges all our hard work and reinforces our commitment to provide high quality childcare in the community whilst continuing to focus on maintaining and improving.

Ofsted always arrive without any prior warning and spends the day observing the staff, checking planning and assessment and all the legal requirements. It’s always a very stressful day and can be very daunting and on this occasion it was the first inspection since the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic began. However we continued our day as normal.
